In-person & Online Meditation Class
Meditation is the process of 'observation', in class you will be guided to observe your thoughts, emotions and breathing patterns. Meditation teaches you how to ‘switch off’ mentally and ‘let go' of a busy mind.
Previous experience is not required to practice meditation, all you need to bring is an open mind, positive attitude and patience.
At first meditation can be challenging, the process of focusing our attention inwards, observing our thoughts and ‘not thinking’ can be challenging and even confronting. Over time this process becomes easier and we experience a deeper level of relaxation, inner peace and clarity.

Meditation is practiced sitting on the floor, barefoot or in socks with props and blankets for comfort; chairs may also be use if preferred.
Classes are open to all levels, beginners and experienced. Meditation is non-physical which makes it suitable for pregnancy, injury and medical conditions where yoga may not be suitable.

The practice of meditation is safe and invaluable during pregnancy. A regular meditation practice during pregnancy can help you to manage some of the stress and anxiety you may be experiencing relating to your pregnancy or birth.
Meditation helps to deepen the mind and body connection which you are naturally more in tune with during pregnancy, a regular practice helps you to connect with baby and to listen to the needs of your body. Meditation also teaches you how to relax, let go and focus your mind. These techniques help you to stay calm and focused during labour and support you through the challenges of being a new mum.
